LEADERSHIP COACHING

Leadership coaching is about supporting leaders’ growth towards more effective, more compassionate ways of leading. Growth increases efficiency, creativity and productivity. As leaders shift their behaviors, their thinking and their paradigms, corporate cultures are also freed to shift. Leadership coaching is not limited to changing problem behaviors - it is about opening up new possibilities.

There are many documented reasons as to why executive or leadership coaching is effective. Here are some of the obvious factors that allow for safe environments conducive to progress:


• The relationship is not part of the hierarchy and is completely confidential;
 • Great coaching is an equal partnership between coach and client;
 • Honesty and openness are mutual and expected;
 • The coaching environment is safe, non-judgmental and confidence-building;
 • The agreement between coach and client is based on an overt expectation of open and direct communication;
 • Coaching is focused on creating clear strategy and next steps; and
 • Accountability strengthens and ensures progress.

Option A 
 • 3-month coaching agreement
 • Frequency of sessions determined by client preferences, up to weekly sessions
 • Clear measurable goals for the coaching time-frame
 • Ending the 3-month period with clarity on next steps for continued development

Option B
 • 6-month coaching agreement
 • Assessment included in the cost - client choice of:
- emotional intelligence assessment
- 360 degree feedback or
- DISC behavioral style assessment
 • Frequency of sessions determined by client preferences, up to weekly sessions
 • Clear measurable goals for the coaching time-frame
 • Ending the 6-month period with clarity on next steps for continued development

Option C 
 • 12-month coaching agreement
 • Assessment included in the cost - client choice of:
- emotional intelligence assessment
- 360 degree feedback or
- DISC behavioral style assessment
 • Frequency of sessions determined by client preferences, up to weekly sessions
 • Clear measurable goals for the coaching time-frame
 • Ending the year with clarity on next steps for continued development

Enrichments:

A wide variety of assessments can be purchased separately to enhance the learning process.

In some situations there is great value in including sessions with a client’s manager. Some clients find these sessions at both the beginning and conclusion of a coaching agreement very helpful. These sessions can be added in based on clear agreement around confidentiality at the onset of the coaching relationship.
